On September 4th, 2007 12:31 pm (UTC), commented: Hi, I'm posting a comment because I answered "Others" to question no. 15. I believe that the "bangsa Malaysia" ideal would be more conceivable if all our citizens were treated equally... as in all races had the same privilleges. After all, what is the meaning of "bangsa Malaysia" if we are still being differentiated by our races (etc: Malay, Indian, Chinese) for the important stuff like education, business and even when buying houses? Is it just a facade that we show to the rest of the world? Just my thoughts... sorry if I rambled. =) Kudos for making the poll btw. =) Thanks for answering the poll! I'll definitely add your comments into the report. BTW, I totally agree with what you have said. From the positive response from the people who have answered both the polls and the questionnaire, I think Bangsa Malaysia can actually be achieved if every one makes an effort to stop steoreotyping and discriminating other races. It just takes time. |
